Class Overview

My senior year consisted of few complex or demanding classes, but one of them were both. I took this course thinking that it would be a breeze and an easy A, boy was I wrong. This class not only taught me things about writing and my own personal style but it also challenged me to do better. This course challenged me to reach higher and achieve more. It allowed me to advance my skills and through what I learned and am still learning I will always remember to apply the tips and key points offered to me by my instructor. Thanks a bunch!

Blogging

This semester my teacher used blogging as one of our class assignments. I really liked the idea of an online personal journal. I thought that the fact of having my own website for my personal use would be really cool. I thought that my page would give a lot of people a little insight of teen life. Yeah I kind of slacked a bit by not providing the "day by day" accounts that I promised in the beginning but hey we're only humans.

Decisions

Oh my goodness. Today I was in class and I heard the most fearful thing. My friend wants to make a major life decision, why, because she feels that she doesn't fit in with the rest of our peers. I totally feel really bad now because I feel that she is only making that influence because of me. Before we became as close as we are today the thought of something like that would have never crossed her mind. Now that she has made such a statement I feel like I am a negative influence in her life and I don't want her to ruin hers just to feel like she belongs.

Why

Okay, so like my school has this newspaper right. Well this month they were doing a special section on poetry written by fellow peers in our school. I had wrote this beautiful poem, a rendition of "Where I'm From", and my school's editor thought that my poem was to derogatory because of one stinking word. So now my totally heart felt poem can't ever grace the pages of the paper.

Technology in School

More and more we see technology used in the school atmosphere. Now days teachers use computers for power-points, students use them for presentations, internet is used for class assignments, and television channels are used for school publication and access. I think that technology being used in schools is a great thing. It offers many opportunities for students to learn more about the world around them and really get great information. It allows more public access to things that may be far away and will never get to actually get to experience. This is most definitely and advancement in education.

Poetry Response

I Am by: Nakkita Tanzana
I choose to write about this poem because we had just wrote a "I am" in one of my classes at school. My teacher had gave the class a structure of how, I presumed, it supposed to go; then when I read Nakkita's poem I realized that there is no standard why for this poem.
Unlovable by: English Indian
I like this poem because I believe that we all feel this way deep inside we we're all alone.
My Memory by: becki watson
This poem was right to the point and let you know that becki has pleasant memories.

Well

It has just been made know that a young man had been bloging for some time now about how he would kill a someone. Detectives didn't find out about the thoughts of the man until it actually came true one sad evening.
It was the night of a young woman's Homecoming, a night that a many of teens anticipate. She was on her way to her high school's dance when some where along the way she encountered the same male that has been planning this event for a very long time. Her evening soon came to a tragic end when the male initiated his operation.
While executing his plan, the gentleman brutally murdered this young woman and burned her lifeless body inside of her car.
This whole event could have been avoided if only someone would have listened...

Review

After previewing the short story "Beautiful/Ugly" written by Chase Wittemore I decided I had to blog about it. The story really had me upset at first because I had read about three paragraphs of boredom. It started off talking abut some lady that that was a figure skater and was in a performance. The gentlemen in the stands was a fan of the lady. As he began had show he awarded her with appraisal and commented her movements. Then out of nowhere the narrator flipped the script. He began to talk about how vulgar the dancer was. He then began to say that she was pathetic and that she was degrading herself he said that he didn't understand way she would want to violate her temple in such a manner. Needless to say the man was quickly outraged and really tripping especially when the lady jumped in the air completing a Russian; high jump into the air with legs brought straight up in the air. Suddenly the man reached down into his bag and pulled out his gun. As she kneeled down to end with her head down he rose up pointed his gun and shot her in the back of her head. Then after her lifeless body lied in center rink he hoped over that arena wall and shot her again. Oh my goodness. It was really worth the time I took to read the story and I am glad that I did. This is crazy

I was just talking about the responsibilities of a senior with some of my fellow. MAN!!! I really don't believe that the seniors for the class of 2006 have realized that everything in life getting ready to change. We will no longer be under mommy's or daddy's wing, you will have to fly on your own. Your destination is in your own hands nobody can control your flight. You want to assure a safe landing thus you don't want to hit any turbulance along the way. you don't want anything or anyone to get in you way and stop you from reaching your goal. It is time that we buckled down and got down to bisness not letting anything stop us.

WHAT!!!!

Well! Oh my goodness my teacher is so like trippin. He want me to write a 10 page short story typed that will be due next WeDnEsDaY. Isn't that wacky. He is really getting on my last artery. I can't even type the answers to my test in a day and I have to come up with 10 pages typed in 12pt font by the middle of next week. I bet he cant even write a 10 page typed 12pt story. Hum de dumb!!!!!! Til Tomorrow...
